What we hold
When you use ReelQuoteAI we hold the information needed to quote and book a move: your contact details, the addresses, the video walkthrough you film, the item list and estimate made from it, and the quotes and bookings that follow. Moving companies also give us their business details and the rates they charge.
We hold nothing we do not need for that. Payment card numbers are never seen or stored by us — payments are handled by a dedicated payment provider, and we keep only the last four digits and the card type so you can recognise a card on file.
How it is protected
- Everything travels encrypted. Every page and every request is served over encrypted connections, and browsers are told never to fall back.
- Everything is stored encrypted. Videos, item lists, quotes and account details sit in encrypted storage with established infrastructure providers, in secured facilities, behind access controls.
- Videos are private. A walkthrough is only ever shown to the moving companies quoting that job, through links made for that job. Videos are deleted automatically on the schedule set out in our privacy policy.
- Access is limited. The people and systems that can reach customer information are the ones that need it to run the service, and no more.
- Sign-in is simple and revocable. Moving companies sign in through a one-time link sent to their email or a password with email reset, and a session can be ended at any time.
- Every quote is on the record. What a customer approved and what a mover accepted is kept exactly as it was at the time, so a question later is settled on the record rather than on memory.
What we never do
- We never sell personal information.
- We never show a walkthrough to anyone but the moving companies quoting that job.
- We never ask for card numbers by email, chat or phone. If you receive such a request in our name, it is not from us.
Keeping your side safe
- Film your own home and belongings only. A walkthrough can capture people who are not part of your move; ask before you include them, or describe an item out loud instead of filming it.
- Use the links we email you. A quote or booking link is personal to your job — do not forward it.
- Moving companies: keep your sign-in email secure, and switch off any connection to other software the moment you stop using it.
Reporting a problem
If you believe you have found a security problem, email info@reelquoteai.com. Say what you found and how to reproduce it, and we will reply. Please do not access or change data that is not yours while investigating, and give us reasonable time to fix a problem before discussing it publicly. Our contact for security researchers is also published in the standard place at reelquoteai.com/.well-known/security.txt.
